Join us every Saturday from 11:00am for chess by the sea at Café de Ryde.

The café is located next to the swimming pool and close to the duck pond, in a sheltered spot away from the wind. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, indoor play is also available.

There is paid parking nearby along the seafront, and the café will be open throughout the day serving food and drinks. Toilet facilities are also available on site.

Everyone is welcome, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player.

Can't make the organised session? Chess sets are available at the café at any time. Simply ask a member of staff for a board and enjoy a game whenever you like. ♟️
