The school Theatre will be open Open to the public during the below times:

You will require a ticket to enter. Register here for free. Please note, players' guests, parents, and family members will not require a ticket. The theatre will be open to players, family, and VIPs during all tournament match times, starting approximately 60 minutes before play begins.

In the theatre, you can watch the games on a large screen, browse items in the Chess and Bridge Shop, play casual chess, and enjoy hot drinks, snacks, and sandwiches from the tournament café. All side activities listed below will take place here.

Join us as we kick off the tournament with a relaxed evening of casual Blitz games! We’ll be taking over the regular Isle of Wight Chess meet, so come along to play, chat, and soak up the pre-tournament atmosphere.
